WORLD-FAMOUS BANDOL WINE REGION
The French winemaking region of Bandol is one of Provence’s most internationally recognized wine regions. The Bandol AOC covers the production of 8 communes (including Ollioules) with a warm climate ideally suited for the late-ripening Mourvèdre grape - the main varietal of the region, which accounts for at least 50% of the blend for both the red and rosé wines. Grenache and Cinsault grapes make up the rest.
The vineyards of the AOC Bandol have so much to offer, both to newcomers to the world of wine and serious oenophiles alike!
